Inspired by the 1920's and 1930's, Satori offers timeless elegance to the 10 guests that are lucky enough to embark on her for a crewed yacht charter. Satori has 5 large, luxury cabins and 1 that can be converted into a spa room on request. Each room is spacious and luxurious, resulting in guests feeling they are in a 5 star hotel opposed to a yacht! The saloon and dinning area are large yet have a warm and welcoming feel. They provide the perfect area to relax in out of the sun.
Outside, Satori's front deck has an open air cinema, with a fold-away cinema screen and a large sun-bed for guests to enjoy with family and friends. The top deck, provides more sunbathing opportunities but this time with stunning views out of the yacht.
WEEKLY CHARTER RATE 2024:
High Season: €65,000 + VAT + APA
Low Season: €58,000 + VAT + APA
Summer 2024 Operating Areas:Greece - Aegean/Cyclades Sea, Greece - Ionian Sea, Turkey.
APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate (usually 30% of the charter rate) paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.
Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 20% of the charter fee is customary.
CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.
Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus VAT plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.
Captain Ali Aker
Captain Ali has virtually lived all his life in connection with the sea. As a child he helped fishermen and during his teens he would free dive without oxygen bottles reaching up to 35 m in depth to spear fish while working in restaurants at nights. When he turned 15, he worked on charter yachts in Bodrum as a deckhand for the first six years and from the age of 21 he worked as a chef. At 26 he passed the captain’s exam and began working as a captain on 22 to 24m charter yachts. Eight years ago, Captain Ali began working on the Satori project. He was involved during the build of the yacht and has been her Captain since she was put in the water five years ago. Since then, Ali has done 14 weeks’ worth of charters and has sailed through Italy, the south of France, Corsica, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Majorca giving him an in-depth knowledge of the harbors, blue bays for anchorage, small towns and much more. Ali’s mother tongue is Turkish, but he is also fluent in English. Ali is especially known for his desire to please clients and provide his guests with the best possible experiences based on his in-depth knowledge of Satori as well as her possibilities.
Head Chef: Serdar Elci
Serdar, our resident Chef, joined Satori four years ago and has become a very valued team member thanks also to his great experience in some of the best restaurants in Turkey such as GQ (Dream) Istanbul, Cipriani Istanbul, Da Silvano Palma Life Hotel Bodrum, Macakizi Bodrum. He also has extensive experience in international cuisine from his time spent in several restaurants in the US, at The Manor at Bickely in London and at the Borgo Santo Pietro in Italy.
Chief Stewardess: Bianca Salov
Bianca is on her second season with Satori. Her background spans from working in restaurants to private villas. During the past six years she has been working at sea on private charters, first as chef, then as solo stewardess and finally as Head Stewardess. With her experience and maturity, she is a great asset to the team and ensures guests are comfortable and well catered for. Bianca is a hard worker and very focused on every client’s happiness on board. Bianca has a warm and friendly smile, is soft spoken and speaks good English.
First Mate : Ugur Bacaci
Ugur joined the Satori team during the winter maintenance period of 2020. This is his first summer season with Satori. Ugur has a background education in ship engineering from the Verna Technical University and has matured his onboard experience in the Mediterranean, the Aegean and the Black seas on board gullets, starting as a deck hand and working his way up to First Mate on 42 and 50m yachts.
