Gulet KADENA is a 35 metre gulet, with 7 en suite cabins, ideal for groups of up to 12 guests. KADENA is extremely well looked after by her owners and she is regularly updated every winter. This year, the makeover will include: new Jacuzzi on deck, new teak deck and lounging area.
The crew is long-standing, a local team, devoted to the gulet and their clients.
KADENA offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in seven en suite cabins:
- Master cabin (mid-ship, taking the whole width of the gulet)
- Two double cabin
- Four twin cabins
KADENA’s home port is Split but she is also available for one-way routes between Split and Dubrovnik. Relocation fee might apply.
Charter Rates for 2025:
High Season (22 June - 24 August): €28,000 + half board + €5,000 APA
Mid Season (25 May - 22 June & 24 August - 14 September): €26,000 + half board + €5,000 APA
Low Season (1 January - 25 May & 14 September - 31 December): €24,000 + half board + €5,000 APA
The prices shown are rates for a weekly charter and they include:
A week rental with four crew members, Croatian VAT, fuel for the yacht for approximately 4 hours per day, 24/7 generator use, air-conditioning, complete linen and towels, including beach towels, use of the water toys on board, arrival day dinner and one complimentary dinner during the week.
Tax Status:
Croatian VAT included in the charter rate.
Obligatory Extras:
- Half board – includes full breakfast and lunch at €550 per person per week.
- Children age 0-2 free of charge, children age 2-10 have 50% discount of a board arrangement.
- Marina fees and port taxes - The cost will be paid out of the APA; the exact amount depends on the route.
Additional Extras:
- An extra meal can be arranged during the week at €50 per person – maximum 2 dinners on board.
- Water sport: €150 per hour for water ski. €200 per hour for jet ski .
- One way charters are available with a relocation fee.
- Transfer from/to the airport/hotel can be organised on request.
DRINKS/BEVERAGES OPTIONS:
Beverages according to an on-board price list or one of the following options:
- All-inclusive domestic package at €290 per person per week (includes: Croatian wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks, still and sparkling water, coffee, tea).
- All-inclusive non-alcoholic drinks package at €190 per person per week.
- Drinks fully supplied by client. Corkage fee of €1,000 will apply.
Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10-15% of the charter fee is customary.
CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.
APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.
Embarkation: Saturday from 1700 hrs
Disembarkation: Saturday until 0900 hrs
Croatia has strict regulations for operating a jet ski. Here is a list of accepted licenses for operating a jetski in Croatia – https://www.yachtingincroatia.com/documents/List-of-valid-skipper-licenses-to-sail-a-yacht-in-Croatia.pdf - If guests are not in a position of one of the licenses from the list, they will not be able to operate a jet ski during the charter.
Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.
CAPTAIN: Mateo Tomic
Captain Mateo has been involved in the yachting industry since his teenage years. He gained extensive experience starting as a sailor on various yachts before progressing to the role of captain, where he took his responsibilities seriously and expanded his knowledge through interactions with different boat owners. In 2019, Mateo acquired his first yacht, Andi Star, and successfully conducted charters even during the challenging pandemic years. His leadership abilities and commitment to high customer service standards have broadened his client network, resulting in numerous repeat customers. According to Captain Mateo, this is the greatest achievement of his life.
After a few successful years with Andi Star, Captain Mateo upgraded to a new yacht, the gulet Kadena, which is larger and more luxurious. He is deeply committed to fulfilling his guests' expectations and aims to provide unforgettable charter experiences. His enthusiasm and excellent communication skills foster a welcoming atmosphere on board. Additionally, Mateo is happy to help event planning, organising celebrations, arranging trips, and recommending and booking restaurants, ensuring that each cruise is hassle-free for his guests. He eagerly anticipates welcoming guests aboard Kadena to offer them a high end service and an exceptional charter experience.
CHEF: Josipa Pavlic
Josipa Pavlic is an exceptional chef who has previously worked on yachts such as Casablanca, Ohana, and Barbara. With eight years of experience in a family restaurant, she honed her skills in a high-pressure summer environment. Following that, she served as the head chef on premium yachts for three years, where she perfected modern cuisine while incorporating traditional Mediterranean flavours. In the winter months, Josipa participates in various culinary courses, allowing her to acquire new skills and recipes.
Guests always praise her dishes, and she takes great pleasure in showcasing her talent and creativity. Josipa has perfect skills to please guests with the most delicious meals and is always ready to adjust to different tastes and to meet a wide range of dietary requirements. Whether you prefer fresh seafood, grilled meats, or vegetarian dishes, the Chef Josipa will prepare mouthwatering meals using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.

Tomislav takes on various responsibilities aboard, from supporting our captain to delivering excellent customer service, all while demonstrating unwavering dedication and a positive attitude.Tomislav is well-versed in navigation, water sports assistance, and all aspects of yacht maintenance.
He is a cheerful and positive crew member, always wearing a smile and eager to help with any needs our guests may have. Extremely attentive and full of energy, he ensures that everyone enjoys safe and fun water sports experiences.
