We got to know catamaran Lagoon 450 LUNA and her wonderful crew in November, during the charter show in Tortola. This is a lovely 2019 Lagoon 450S, customised for hosting up to 6 guests in comfort and luxury.
Catamaran Lagoon 450 LUNA is beautifully decorated and full of amenities that offer the comfort of home and a lot more. She has the perfect blend of private spaces and social living. This floating home features multiple interior and exterior spaces. The yacht’s outdoor cockpit area offers areas made for lounging, sunbathing, and relaxing as well as a beautiful dining area with plenty of seating. There is a great space on the front, back and the roof where one can relax or sunbathe.
LUNA has four beautifully appointed staterooms with queen-size beds. Three cabins are available for the guests. Each cabin features its own en-suite bathroom finished with high-end details such as teak floors, electric flush toilet and full separate shower, sink, and vanity cabinet with a mirror. Big towels for bathing and quick-drying Turkish towels for the outdoors are provided. Additionally, each cabin is fitted with individual A/C controls, a 110V power outlet, a USB outlet, two reading lights, a cabin fan and plenty of locker space and storage.

Weekly charter rate: $23,000 (2 passengers)
Weekly charter rate: $23,500 (3 passengers)
Weekly charter rate: $24,000 (4 passengers)

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR WEEKLY CHARTER RATE:
Christmas week: Flat rate of $30,000 for 2-6 guests. (Charter must end no later than December 26.)
New Year week: Flat rate of $35,000 for 2-6 guests. (Charter must not start prior to December 28.)
Prices include: All services, food and standard bar and all water sport activities.
Extra costs are: vintage wines, champagne, special requests, dockage, harbour dues, onboard communications, airport transfers, crew gratuity, cruising permit and liscenses.
Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 20% of the charter fee is customary.
CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.
Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus VAT, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.
Captain Nim is a US Coast Guard certified captain and an experienced PADI Divemaster. He has sailed extensively throughout the Caribbean– the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos and several areas of the world’s other great waters- including the Mediterranean, Aegean, Adriatic, and the Andaman Sea, through the Suez Canal and across the Atlantic Ocean from Europe to the U.S.
Nim is a former information technology executive and Israeli Air Force combat veteran. He began sailing the Mediterranean at age 12, became certified in open water scuba diving while a teenager and divemaster not long afterward. Nim is an award-winning mixologist. He has endless stories and is naturally hospitable and welcoming. He is fluent in English and Hebrew and can nod and understand more Spanish than he will admit to.
Chef/First Mate Fabiola is an Island girl with a European heritage who literally grew up on sailboats. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and worked for many years in Wealth Management before moving full time to life at sea.
Fabiola's love of food and creative cuisine began early, raised in a family of amazing cooks, she received as a gift her first cookbook at the age of eight and has had a fascination with delicious food ever since. She has successfully catered high-end parties and corporate events. She also has training in all aspects of food safety and hygiene.
Award-winning chef, Fabiola enjoys combining healthy fresh local ingredients with international dishes learnt from a life well-traveled and experience of other cultures. Her delicious recipes have been featured in several magazines. Fabiola delights in tailoring the menu and creating special moments for each group of guests aboard. She is an expert at creating the perfect atmosphere for guests onboard Luna. Fabiola is fluent in English and Spanish and is a USCG Master Captain.
