Shooting Star is an elegant, timelessly decorated motor yacht that offers crewed yacht charters for up to 12 guests. She was built in 2004 however she has had an extensive refit in 2021; new teak floors, new carpets, new mattresses and new tender and toys are a few of the long list of upgrades that have occurred. Shooting Star is a great example of what it means to be a luxury yacht! Every room is beautifully styled and as a result feels calming and luxurious.
Shooting Star is able to accommodated up to 12 guests in five cabins. There is a large master cabin and VIP cabin that are elegant and spacious. On the lower deck is one twin cabin and one double cabin- both of which have pullman beds which enables 3 guests to sleep in each cabin. On the main deck is another double cabin, All cabins have their own stunning bathrooms for guests to enjoy. The open plan saloon and dining area is spacious and easily accommodated all 12 guests. The large TV screen is able to be hidden behind shutters, proof that every detail has been thought of on board Shooting Star.
Outside the vast fly bridge has dining, lounging and seating areas, however due to its size, never feels cramped. Down on the aft deck, there is another outside dining area to enjoy alfresco meals with family and friends. This yacht is stunning and with it's six professional, experienced crew, all guests will have an amazing charter in Greece.
Weekly Charter Rate 2024:
High Season Rate (July, August): €78,500 + VAT + APA 30%
Low Season Rate (rest of the period): €68,500 + VAT + APA 30%
Applicable VAT at the time of charter, currently 12% however this is subject to change without prior notice.
Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10-15% of the charter fee is customary.
CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.
APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate (usually 30% of the charter rate) paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.
Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus VAT plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.
Christiana Kivirtziki - Captain
Christiana was born and raised in Athens. She is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos. Although she is young, she has worked both on commercial ships and charter yachts during her career. After logging many of nautical miles on deck and in the wheelhouse as Chief officer, she found her way onboard Shooting Star as a captain. She holds all the necessary certificates for lifesaving, first aid and fire fighting.

Akis Bimas - Chief Engineer
Akis was born in 1989 and graduated from Merchant Maritime Academy of Aspropyrgos in 2013 holding an Engineer Class B Certificate. Akis, during his career has worked onboard tanker ships and the last 3 years he moved to motor yachts. Akis is a skilled engineer and he will make sure that the yacht's engines always operate efficiently.

Panos Sarianoglou - Chef
Panos is 24 years old with a real passion for his job! Being a Chef for over 5 years now, he can successfully present fusion style meals not only of International cuisine but also amazing Greek dishes! He is very organised in his galley and he loves putiing his personal touch in the dishes that he prepares for the guests, combining quality and taste!

Sofia Markopoulou - Chief Stewardess
Sofia is a very energetic and passionate person. With attention to detail she manages all aspects of the yacht interior. Her organizational skills are exceptional and her service standards are really high. She is a friendly, supportive person and her first priority is to keep guests happy. In her free time, she likes playing tennis, bicycling and taekwondo. Her hobbies are cinema, theater and photography.

Efthimia Petala - Assistant Stewardess
Efthimia was born and raised in Ithaca island. She is 26 years old and has finished her studies on Physiotherapy school, but she decided to join the yachting industry due to his passion for the sea. Her organizational skills are exceptional and so are her service standards. A friendly and supportive individual, extremely well-mannered, always on a process of self-improvement, with perfection as her final destination.

Ioannis Zourdos - Deckhand
Following multiple successful seasons as a deckhand on luxury motor yachts Ioannis recently became a member of our skilled crew. He holds a speed boat operator license and loves watersports. He is a hard worker, discreet and efficient when it comes to our guests’ safety and security.
