Sunbreeze is a Sunreef 60 that was built to be an all-round sailing catamaran- perfect for crewed yacht charters! She is able to accommodate up to 8 guests in three luxurious double cabins and one Mater cabin, all with ensuite bathrooms. Each cabin with ensuite has been designed to feel welcoming and stylish- the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day sailing. The master suite not only has it's own large bathroom but a walk-in dressing area and sofa. Sunbreeze has a modern, open plan saloon and galley that easily accommodates all 8 charter guests plus 3 extra guests for cruising.
Outside at the bow of the boat is a pleasant seating area perfect for relaxing with friends and family. The flybridge also offers lounging areas however, this area benefits from the cover providing a shaded seating area with 360 degree views out. Finally at the back of the boat, the outside dinning area has a large table for guests to enjoy their freshly prepared meals whilst taking in their stunning surroundings.
Weekly Charter Rate 2024:
High Season (July and August): €39,500 + VAT 21% + APA 35%
Low Season: €37,500 + VAT 21% + APA 35%
Sunbreeze is located in Marina Cuarentena, Palma.
Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10-15% of the charter fee is customary.
CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.
APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate (usually 30% of the charter rate) paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.
Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus VAT plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.
CAPTAIN:Juan Miguel Sitjar Muñoz
Captain JuanMi, as friends usually call him, began his yachting career many years ago, when he joined the merchant navy, when he then moved on to the private yachting sector in 2001, to pursue his career. Back then, he was the Captain of a well-known Wally sailing yacht and took part in numerous regattas over the years. After that, he decided to move on to pastures new and hopped on to Motor Yachts. JuanMi has a huge wealth of knowledge and is not only a great Captain but also a great entertainer. He loves being around people, taking care of his guests, and making sure that their time onboard will be unforgettable.
He was born and raised in the Balearic islands, which guarantee his guests to see the absolute hidden treasures of these beautiful islands. In his free time, JuanMi enjoys sailing on his own little yacht, going fishing, hiking in the Tramuntana mountains, and diving. He speaks Spanish, Catalan, and good English.
CHEF: Angelica Pastrana Marin
Angelica has been working as a creative cook/chef for 13 years, leading work teams with excellent results, considering herself a proactive person, who looks for continuous growth and learning. In her free time, she loves doing sports and keeping herself fit, as well as giving private cooking classes and keeping up with new recipes and cooking techniques. Angelica enjoys wowing her guests with creative, beautifully presented dishes and to prepare the meals according to their preferences.
DECKHAND:Lucas Byron Hirst
Lucas has been sailing since he was 5 years old and loves the sea, which is why he studied to become an offshore skipper to turn his passion into a career.
He started in yachting last year, sailing as deckhand and doing maintenance,
repairs and customer service.
This will be Lucas' first season on Sunbreeze and he is looking forward to increasing his knowledge even further under the supervision of the very experienced Captain JuanMi. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family. His hobbies are windsurfing and outdoor activities.
Being half English and half Spanish he speaks both languages fluently, he can also speak Catalan.
