Dear Sasha,
Sorry for the delay, below you will find how happy we are to have worked with you.
Please have in mind that we want to go to Turkey, with Barracuda and her Crew the last week of July 2016; I think we will start our journey in Bodrum. What do you think?
Below is my experience of the trip. Thank you again for you excellent work.
Why you should work with Sasha:
We had never chartered a Yacht in Europe before, I feel very happy to have found High Point Yachting googling on the internet. We needed 6 cabins, for 13 persons and wanted to cruise along Croatia and no other places.
... I contacted High Point Yachting with our needs, within two days; I received an offer with various yachts and Gullets that met our needs and budget. All the options had the right number of cabins, were available to rent in Croatia and available in the dates I requested.
Very quickly, I realised that I didn’t need to keep negotiating with other charterers, because HPY understood our needs and had the right options.
Sasha was so professional since day one; instead of starting and endless chain of e-mail, she called me, asked the right questions to understand our needs, and recommended me the right yacht, destinations and activities, that when we made the cruise five month later proved to be excellent ones.
Everything she promised, she delivered, the total cost of the charter in the last week of July, was exactly what she quoted us on February; we had no surprises or additional costs.
She help us out choosing what places we should visits, what activities we should do in each place, in what marinas we should spend the night, in what restaurants we should have dinner at, what food and drinks we should take on board. It is amazing how she got everything right, and this is not easy for 13 persons with ages from 70 to 1 year old.
She made all the reservations at the marinas, restaurants, tour guides, etc. We only had to enjoy the trip. We had the pleasure of meeting each other in Split; she was waiting for us when we disembarked.
The Yacht she chose for us was the Barracuda Red Sea. What an amazing yacht. When we boarded, she was more beautiful than in the pictures. When we docked, people asked permission to take pictures with the boat; some asked to come on-board, people stayed still watching the Barracuda docking.
All the cabins are great, have a lot of room; everybody had its privacy, lots of water sports. Very safe for the kids, we traveled with three ten year old girls and a 1 year old baby. This yacht is excellent for a family trip, you don’t have to worry about the kids getting hurt. Everything on the yacht was in excellent conditions, including the dingy and wave runners.
What a wonderful crew! The Captain and his seven crew members made as feel like at home, they took such good care of us.
We had arranged with Sasha what each one would have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in what day, the Chef made delicious meals, and exactly what we had asked for, even for the baby.
The hostesses in the crew were always ready to assist us with any needs, as late as it was needed. They even took care of the kids and the baby and stayed with them when we went for dinner at night at some local restaurant.
The Captain and his three sailors were like our guardian angels. The Captain always chose the best spot on the beaches and in the marinas. When we docked, he went to the restaurant to make sure our reservation was ok. In those cities we had hired a guide; he made sure she/he was there when we arrived.
He and his crew members went beyond their duties. In one of the cities, the baby had a high fever. The Captain found a doctor, went with the baby and his parents to the doctor, and found a pharmacy where to buy the medicines.
All the places we visited where amazing, the journey that we put together with Sasha and the Captain, prove to be excellent, we would not change anything if we did it again.
We did a little of everything, beautiful beaches with crystal clear warm water, lots of water sports, visited ancient cities with a lot of history (the guide proved to be very important), the marinas we stayed at night were excellent.
In the biggest cities, we went out for dinner at night, with excellent restaurants, and in the smallest ones, we had dinner onboard.
What proves that everything was excellent and beyond our expectations is that when we dis-embarked at Split, after eight days on the Barracuda, all the family members told me, next year we want to do this again, but with the same crew and yacht, so go ask Sasha and the Captain where do they recommend us to go, and tell them to reserve the same dates for us!
Therefore, we are all looking forward to meet Sasha, the Crew, and Barracuda at Bodrum on July 2016.
Carlos and family, July 2015
